It gives us great pride to produce a superior, all natural product that comes from our own small farm that has ended up on tables all around the world. We are not commercial "bulk" producers. We produce our syrup in an artisanal way using firewood for boiling that we harvest from our own farm for increased sustainability and environmental stewardship . We know each drop we produce ends up on your families table (or ours!) so we strive to give you our best with every drop.

Mark is a small dairy farmer who with Andreas help has turned Schmidt's Sunny Slope Farm into a Dairy of Distinction that consistently receives awards for superior milk quality. Mark began making maple syrup as a child with his father, gathering the sap from buckets with a garden tractor and a trailer full of milk cans. In 2018 he built a 24'x36' sugar house and garage and invested in modern lead free maple equipment. Each year he has added new equipment to the sugar house to improve quality and efficiency as well as new product offerings. Andrea is a great help in the woods and the sugar house but her expertise is in making the cream, candy and maple coated nuts. She, along with their daughter Maranda, can often be found at local farmers markets selling their products or making local deliveries.
